BlackBerry 10 has released their first smart phone the Z10. It's available in U.K. and Canada, so far but by March of 2013 all of the major U.S. carriers will have it. This is a big step for the BlackBerry, but can they fairly compete with the 2 biggest smarties out there the i OS and the Android? Well that's for you to decide.
BlackBerry 10 software is smooth and functional, with no lag.
The new BlackBerry has a top of the line display and HD quality audio.
Well built, slick hardware, with a not too small nor too big display of 4.2 inches.
Best touch screen keyboard on the market today.
The Z10 comes with 16GB of built-in storage, and also supports microSD media cards up to 32GB. It's total memory capacity is 48 GB.
You can get up to 10 hours of talk time on 3G and 6 hours on 4G.
Here are some cons of the new phone. Although the Z10 has a huge variety of apps, most of them are useless. It lacks quality apps from big name developers and corporations.
The charging ports are located on the side instead of the bottom of the phone, which can make it a bit uncomfortable to talk, or do other things on it while charging.
The GPS doesn't seem to be working well, lags a lot.
The new BlackBerry Z10 has an 8 MP rear and a 2 MP front cameras, which have the worst low light performance seen in smartphones so far. And there are some issues with close ups as well.
